Crispin de Moubray was all smiles after the young mare NAMIBIE (lot 463) was knocked down to him for €100,000. Offered from La Motteraye Consignment, the daughter of Dark Angel is out of the Listed winning juvenile MAMBIA from the family of PHOCEENE and OLENDON. She was sold in foal to Le Havre.

I’m so happy to have got her as she was my pick of the day and I wasn’t sure she was in my budget. Mambia is now in Japan and her progeny are running well – her three-year-old was fourth in a Group race this year. It’s a live family. She’ll go to Ireland.
