The Emir's Sword after selling to Gérard Larrieu of Chantilly Bloodstock Agency for €625,000. Bidding started at a mere €50,000 for the son of Thewayyouare and progressed slowly to its final point but Larrieu, who was seated alongside trainer Jassim Al Ghazali, was not to be denied.
