LOT 542
Barberini saves best until last with €95K Kendargent colt

The final lot in the ring attracted plenty of interest and Newmarket-based agent Federico Barberini had to go to €95,000 to secure the second foal out of the Australian-bred Listed-placed HUNTER FORWARD. The son of Kendargent was consigned by Haras d'Omméel on behalf of breeder Michael Watt and boasts a solid Australian pedigree fearuting the Group winners DANROAD and STRAWBERRY BOY.

I thought he was a gorgeous horse by one of the best stallions in France, commented the Italian-born agent. He is for an existing client and will stay in France to be trained.
