LOT 418
Presidente Line commands €100,000

Lot 418 a 5yo by Martaline goes under the hammer for  100.000€ commanded by Paul Nataf. 

Presidente Line offered by Alain Couétil stays on a third place in the Prix d'Arles (L) at Auteuil in May this year, the chesnut mare will stay with her trainer in France.

LOT 415
Jean-Pierre Dubois - trained Créalion sells at €150,000

 This 3yo gelding from the family of Group winners at Auteuil Ladykish and Turkish Junior, was purchased by Alex Eliott. He is a son of Creachadoir, the sire of Footpad who collected multiple Group 1 success on both sides of the Channel. crezalion was offered by Jean-Pierre Dubois.

Alex Eliott commented:

He wasn't really in my radar, but when I went around the horse today he absolutely stood out as a physical, and he is a chaser in the making. Lot of these horses are bought with the Triumph Hurdle in mind we will be thinking much further down the line. He will be trained by Tom George in England and get plenty of time, and go over the fences next year as a 4yo.

LOT 404
BELSANNDI sells at €210,000

Offered by  Aga Khan Studs, BELSANNDI (lot 404) sells at  210.000€  to Toby Jones. Dark bay son of Sinnard, trained by Alain de Royer-Dupré won last time out over 2.600 mètres at Châteaubriant. 

Toby Jones who purchased the colt commented:

He is a beautilful horse I am really really happy to get him, now he is gonna go back to Ireland for his new owner. They may continue him on the flat and then go hurdeling

LOT 390
Famous Wolf commands €120,000

Another Wild Card, winner of the Listed Prix Maurice Caillault and fourth in the G3 Prix de Guiche  the André Fabre-trained FAMOUS WOLF (lot 390) went under the hammer for €120,000

 Ahmad Bin Harmash who will train the horse commented : 

He will go to my stable in Dubai, I like to buy the horses in the care of André Fabre such as New Trails who was contender in the 2019 Dubai World Cup. I bough him for Alessandro Marconi.

LOT 385 & 38
Shopping list of Gérard Larrieu

The bloodstock agent won the bidding war for a Wild Card lot 385 Go To Hollywood. He forked out €140,000 for this Listed-placed at 2 son of Penny's Picnic offered by Yann Barberot.

Second on his list was lot 389, trained and offered by Didier Guillemin Moutier, a promising 3yo son of War Front that recently won the Prix Robert de Villemandy at Bordeaux.

Both were bouhgt for Qatari clients.

 

 

 

 

 

LOT 267
South Sister sells at €65,000.

Laurent Benoit from Broadhurst Agency had a last word at € 65.000 for SOUTH SISTER (lot 267), who is out of same mating that Groupe 1 winner TIN HORSE. She was offered in foal to Gleaneagles by The Channel Consignment. 

She will go to Alban Chevalier du Fau near to Angers. It is a very good "Moratalla's" and I am glad to get her. I like her pedigree that includes Kendor and in addition to that she is  foal to classique winner Gleneagles. 

LOT 261
Eric Feurtet pays €100.000 for lot 261.

Eric Feurtet bought CONTESSA DU BARRY (lot 261) offered by Hubert Honoré.  

The mare is herself placed of the Group 3 the Prix de Royaumont and in foal to Almanzor, she will joint the string of broodmares at  the Rymska Stud

Eric Feurtet said : 

We came purposely for her. She performed well on the race track, and in foal to the young promising stallion Almanzor. We were about to spend €70,000, the final bid was at  €100,000 but definitley she worths her price.

LOT 252 & 26
Paul Basquin shopped Kelty In Love at €80,000 and Boscastle at €90,000

Paul Basquin was quite active while shopping two broodmares.

The first one carrying the lot 252 with a filly by Wootton Basset at foot and in foal to Panis the second one: a daughter of Sea The Stars and in foal to Caravaggio with lot of black type winners in France and America on her dam side.

I purchased her for a client who knows well the family, she will go to the Saubouas Stud. The mare is beautiful, with good locomotion and she has already produced good racehorses : a winner of the Group 3 sired by Elusive City and she is in foal to a good stallion. Moreover, the filly at foot is by Wootton Basset, who sired our last winner at Deauville.

LOT 218
Torentosa brings the hammer down at €140,000

Henri Bozo signed the docket on behalf of David Redvers from Tweenhills Farm & Stud for this mare offered by The Channel Consignment, a full sister to black type Gryella and half sister to Derby winner Wings of Eagles.

Torentosa was sold in foal to Zoustar.

 

I bought her for my friend. David belives a lot in Zoustar he wants to give him all chance possible, now she is going to Tweenhills

 

LOT 210
Tony Nerses went to €380,000 to acquire Floret by Galileo.

Unraced herself but a daughter of Galileo and a full sister of Cedar Mountain, winner in  Great Britan and America at the Listed and Group level, the filly was knocked down at €380,000.

Tony Nerses commented:

She got the look as well as the page, it is still not decided to which stallion she will go. She was the choice of Imad Al Sagar, and she will joint the broodmares band at the Blue Diamond Stud Farm

Charles Briere from Fairway Consignment said:

She is a lovely filly, she arrived to Fairway only 2 months ago and adapted very well to her new life. Definitely she is a page, you can't get better for the breeding. Especially the half sister of Moonlight Cloud, she did a good price that I am satisfied with.

 

LOT 136
Showbusiness sells at €67,000

Lot 136 Showbusiness offered by Guy Cherel goes to Morten Buskop. Previously sold for €28,000 at the 2017 Breeding Stock Sale, this son of Listed winner INDIGO by Camelot was secured for €67,000.

I bought him for myself, I still don't know where he will go in training. He is very goodlooking horse and I like his dam who performed well in Scandinavia

 

LOT 114
Bertrand Le Métayer offers €130,000 for full brother of Diego du Charmil

Darano, two-year-old was offered by Haras de l'Isle Verte as a lot 114. He was purchased for Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé who had trained his full brother, Diego du Charmil, winner in Great Britain of the Doom Bar Maghull Novices'Chase (Gr.1)

Bertrand Le Métayer said:

Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé loved his brother, the colt is out of very sound family, I like his locomotion, good scope, lovely action.

LOT 97
Full brother to Very Wood commands €115,000

Grey gelding by Martaline offered by Haras de l'Hotellerie brings the hammer down at €115,000 for Roger Marley standing with Margaret O'Toole. His full brother, VERY GOOD, won the Spa Novices'Hurdle (Gr.1)

Roger commented : 

It 's the best two-year-old of the sale. Generally speaking I think it is a very good opportunity to but them at 2, valorise and sell afterwards

LOT 84
Histoire du Chenet for €105,000

The bids sparked from all around the ring but it was Nicolas De Lageneste who had the last word for this No Risk At All filly.  

Offered by Haras des Loges Histoire du Chenet counts noumerous performers on her dam side such as SAINT DU CHENET, TANAIS DU CHENET, GALANT MOSS, IRIS ROYAL or MA ROYALE. 

Nicolas De Lageneste commented:

It's very classy filly with good mouvement. I love her dam line, I hope to se her at Auteuil, she will be trained by Anne-Sophie Pacault. 

 

 

 

 

LOT 82
Doctor Dino's son for €77,00

Heros Du Chenet brought to the ring by Haras des Loges was secured by Paul Basquin from Haras de Saubouas. 

After sigining the docket Paul Basquin commented:

Doctor Dino's progeny is very chic, it is an excellent stallion. I found the horse is splendid. I bought him for myself, he will be trained by Guillaume Macaire.

 

 

LOT 70
Tony sells for €60,000

Offered by Haras du Lieu des Champs, colt by Masked Marvel will go in training to Ireland.

Donnacha Dole, the buyer said that the colt is a good mover and nice looking horse.

 He is going to point-to-pointing.

 

LOT 28
Gloriano goes under the hammer for €75,000

Gloriano, Authorized son offered by l'Ecurie la Frenee catched the eye of Paul Webber who purchased this two-year-old colt on behalf Peter and Ross Doyle. 

Mr Webber shared hid thoughts:

He will start on the flat and after we would like to see him jumping, he will join my training yard near to Oxford. The colt has good action and attitude and good mental, he is lovely looking horse

LOT 12
Siyouni's filly secured for €110,000 by Paul Nataf

Paul Nataf offers the winning bid for a filly carrying the lot 12 offerd by Windmill Stables. Chesnut filly out of Group 2 winner AL THAKIRA made a good impression while breezing yesterday. 

After signing the docket Paul Nataf commented:

She is nice filly, her dam is by Dubawi, I expect her to be a good racing horse. She will be trained by

J-C Rouget.
