Nearing the end of the session, David Powell (Highflyer Bloodstock) went to €100,000 to secure a son of Kapgarde (lot 616) from Haras de la Hêtraie to be trained by Paul Nicholls. The gelding is from the family of top class chaser CLAN DES OBEAUX, also with the Ditcheat handler. 

We really liked him, said David Powell. He’ll go to England to be trained by Paul Nicholls.
