Son of Siyouni knocked down for €1,2 million

Eagerly awaited in the ring, a son of Siyouni out of Listed scorer ISABEL DE URBINA was subjected to a long bidding war that saw Oliver St Lawrence come out on top with a final bid of €1,2 million. Consigned by Brendan Holland’s Grove Stud, the colt is out of the family of Group winners MANUELA DE VEGA, HERO LOOK, PONT AVEN, SAINTE MARINE, JOSR ALGARHOUD and INDIAN DAYS.

He’s a lovely colt, said Oliver St Lawrence. He has it all - he breezed well, is by a great stallion and has a great pedigree. He’s been bought for an owner from Bahrein, and will most likely be trained in England.
