A son of No Nay Never from Haras du Logis Saint Germain (lot 433) from the family of Prix Jean Prat (Gr.1) winner ZELZAL was bought for €120,000 by Broadhurst Agency (Laurent Benoit).
He’s buy a good stallion and should be sold back here at the Breeze Up Sale.
LOVERA, a daughter of Listed scorer ICE LOVE by Kendargent and a sister to this year’s Group placed juvenile KENLOVA was bought for €105,000 by Pascal Bary. The filly was consigned by Haras de Colleville (lot 432).
I’ve bought her for Mr.Laboureau. She’s a lovely filly that closely resembles her sister KENLOVA .
Consigned by Haras des Capucines (lot 423), SWEET TRAVEL, a No Nay Never filly out a daughter of a dual Group placed sister to Iron Mask, was sold for €120,000 to Nicolas de Watrigant (Mandore International Agency) for Middleham Park Racing.
« She’s a two-year-old type and a very nice filly. I’ve been very lucky for them - I bought Boitron and Tigre du Terre for them, so they were happy to give me another chance to buy another horse for them. It’s a great syndicate and I’m very pleased to be given another opportunity from them to buy a nice yearling. »

BRYNELLO (lot 411), offered from Haras de Grandcamp made €67,000 to Federico Barberini/ Middleham Park Racing. He is a half-brother to Listed winner ELLA DIVA.

A daughter of Wootton Bassett from the family of European Champion Three-Year-Old ALMANZOR and 2019 Coventry Stakes (Gr.2) placed GUILDSMAN was bought for €110,000 by Jean-Marie Callier and Bertrand Le Metayer for Haras du Thenney. She was offered from Haras d’Etreham.
David Salabi said:
This is the filly that we liked the most today. We like to support Wootton Bassett, as we also have shares in him. She’s a very good-looking filly. As we’re also buying her for her breeding potential, the fact that she is the same cross as Alamanzor was a big plus.
A half-sister by Shalaa to Group placed MORE THAN A DREAM from Haras de la Louviere (lot 393) sold for €135,000 to BHB for Isabelle Corbani and Jedburgh Stud.

We already have a filly by Shalaa at the stud, and he’s a stallion that we believe in - the mating is one that we like a lot. She’ll become a broodmare at the end of her career. We haven’t decided on a trainer yet.
Consigned by HSV Agency, CELEBORN (lot 386), a son of first crop sire Goken, was sold for €50,000 to Jean-Claude Rouget. He hails from the same family as Prix Greffulhe (Gr.2) victor SUMBAL.
An Anodin filly out of a daughter of Prix de Meautry (Gr.3) winner BLANCHE and a half-sister to Listed placed BLANCHE DOREE consigned by Haras de la Cour Blanche (lot 184) was sold for €80,000 to Pierre-Yves Bureau (Wertheimer et Frere).
« We like to support our stallions and she’s a lovely filly that we really like. I’m delighted to have bought her from her breeder, who has been a big supporter of all our stallions. Hopefully she’ll be a good filly. »
GIRLS GOT RHYTHM (lot 368), a half-sister to recent Listed runner-up WHEELS ON FIRE had already gone through the ring at the Breeding Stock Sale in 2018. Offered by Hubert Honore, she was sold for €56,000 to Con Marnane.
A daughter of No Nay Never out of multiple Listed placed WESTERN MYSTIC was knocked down to Olaf Profft for Normandie Pur Sang for €55,000.
« I like the German maternal line and with her sire also she is a good breeding prospect. She’ll race in France and we’ll decide later by whom. »
The hammer fell at €60,000 to Henri-François Devin for a son of Wootton Bassett out of a daughter of Prix Vermeille (Gr.1) and 2000 Arc third VOLVORETA . He was consigned by Haras d'Etreham (lot 364).
He said,
He’s a lovely colt raised at Haras d’Etreham by a good stallion. I haven’t got a client in mind for the moment, but I bought him because I like him a lot.
Luckiness (lot 362), from La Motteraye Consignment, was sold for €50,000 to Con Marnane.
This son of first crop stallion Mehmas went through the ring during the Breeding Stock Sale in 2018.
« He’s a beautiful colt. He looks very fast and I like his progeny a lot. He’ll come back to Ireland and then may come back here for the Breeze-Up Sales - he’s qualified for French premiums. He’s quality. »
A half-sister by Anodin to Listed winining and Group placed mare TREASURE, that has already produced stakes performers TRESORERIE, TRESORIER and KING OTTOKAR, went the way of Laurent Benoit for €52,000. She was consigned by Haras de Quesnay as lot 358.
Lot 342 from Haras du Grand Lys was sold for €54,000 to Aleardo Dall’Oglion. The filly is a half-sister by Arcano to Group placed BONITA FRANSISCA.
I bought her because I know her sister BONITA FRANSISCA well. She also has a lovely outlook. The filly will stay in France, and will go back to Haras du Grand Lys to start with. I’ll wait until the end of the year to break her. This is my first purchase at ARQANA.
