LOT 97
Listed winner RUNNING D'OR goes to Matthew Houldsworth

Offered by Serge Foucher, bids for black-type winner RUNNING D'OR reached €100,000, where she was knocked down to Matthew Houldsworth. This promising four year old filly recently took the Prix André Masséna Grande Course de Haies des 4 ans (L.). The daughter of Archange d'Or is also from the family of Graded winner MISSY TATA.

I’ve bought her for an English client and she’ll join Tom Symonds. She’s already a Listed winner and I think she has the potential to go over fences as well as hurdles. She’s a lovely filly. She’ll continue her racing career and then join my client’s broodmare band. He’s just started breeding National Hunt horses.

LOT 25
AGNES sold for €135.000 to Marco Bozzi

Eagerly awaited in the ring during the first day of the February Mixed Sale, the Pia Brandt trained AGNES was subject to a bidding war, with Marco Bozzi coming out on top. Fourth in the Prix Pénélope last season, this four year old filly with a rating of 93 most recently finished runner-up in the Prix Max Sicard (L.). Hailing from the leading Wertheimer family of OCCUPANDISTE, the daughter of Planteur was knocked down for €135,000.

I’ve bought her for Mr. Roveda, the owner of Affaire Solitaire » said Marco Bozzi. She’ll go to Italy and join Raffaele Biondi’s stable. She’ll start by running under the Italian sun, then we’ll bring her back to run on French soil from June. She’s a lovely filly that has been running well - we’re delighted.
