I’ve bought her for Sage Stud in Austria, said the agent. They’ve been breeding for over 30 years, and have recently bought this stud and entirely renovated it. This is the third year that they have come to ARQANA to buy quality mares.

After a protracted battle for the four-year-old AQPS by Masterstroke, it was David Powell (Highflyer Bloodstock) that had the final say for the half-brother to recent Irish Grade 1 winner GAILLARD DU MESNIL.
After signing the docket, David Powell said,
I've bought him for Robert Waley-Cohen. He’s a horse that merited to be fought over. He’ll now have a bit of a break as he needs to strengthen up a bit.
