Bidding on the telephone, agent Sam Wright went to €575,000 for the Wild Card ROCCHIGIANI. The winner of the Thoroughbred Stakes (Gr.3) at Goodwood and runner-up in the German 2000 Guineas (Gr.2) this season, the Peter Schiergen trained colt also won the ZukunftsRennen (Gr.3) as a juvenile. The three-year-old son of Time Test out of Listed winner RONJA has a rating of 50 (110) and is a half-brother to Listed scorer and Group placed ROSS. He will now continue his career in Hong Kong.
