Consigned by Coulonces, the Haras de Saint-Laurent homebred is out of Listed winner ALZUBRA, that has already produced ARAPAHO, a winner of the Premier Cup (Gr.3) in Australia this season, as well as the black-type ALULA BOREALIS and ATHABASCAN.
She’s a lovely filly, very elegant. We really liked her, as did Yann, said Gitte Allaire. She’s from a great family and a sister to three black-type horses. We also bought Bouttemont, that was bred by Elisabeth and Andre Fabre. We hope the story continues with her!
A few lots later, Anthony Stroud made his presence felt once again, this time for a son of Frankel out of a half-sister to Group 1 winner PALACE EPISODE from Haras d’Etreham. He had the final say at €260,000 for the colt from the family of Group scorers LAUGHING LASHES, TEJANO RUN, MORE ROYALE and SPRING IN THE AIR. Stroud said,
He’s a lovely colt by Frankel, with a lovely pedigree. He ticks all the boxes and will be trained by Simon Crisford. We’re very happy.
Very active during the day, agent Anthony Stroud struck this time for a son of Sea The Stars out of a sister to Group 1 winner CLOTH OF STARS. Offered from J.K. Thoroughbreds, the gavel fell at €300,000 for the colt from the family of Group 1 winners LIGHT SHIFT, ULYSSES and SHIVA.
He’s a lovely colt by Sea The Stars, a stallion that needs no introduction, said Anthony Stroud. He’ll join the boxes of Charlie Appleby.
